Google Chromebook Will Be Fully Compatible With Android Application

Google has just announced an important update about the Chromebook. Those Internet giant Company make sure the whole Chromebook release this year will be directly support Android applications.

This information was first known from the list of Chromebook that compatible with Android applications. "All Chromebooks release in 2017 and beyond will be able to run Android applications," says the Internet giant company in a statement.

Quoted from TechCrunch, Tuesday (24/01/2017) we do not need to do an update to be able to run Android applications on the device. Chromebook users just simply open the home display, and have direct access to the Play Store.

Actually, Google already setup Chromebook compatible with Android applications since last year. However, that feature is still limited to a few specific models.

With the presence of this feature, Some of analysts says that Chromebook services will be getting bigger. With access to the Play Store, it is not impossible that laptops (Chromebook) can compete with Windows or MacOS.

For information, the announcements of this features is not long after the SVP of Android, Chrome OS & Play Hiroshi Lockheimer ensure there will be no merger from the two operating systems that he created, Android and Chrome OS.

The reason is each of the operating systems have different user targets. Therefore, what is possible to do is to bring the Play Store to Chrome OS and laptop operating system update mechanisms to Android.
